In a bid to motivate Nigerian entrepreneurs to formalise their businesses, FG has created an offer to get your business registered for as low as N5,000. This was made known by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, on Tuesday at the launch of the 19th edition of the National MSMEs Clinics in Enugu. According to the Vice President, the special window of 90 days was from October 1 to December 31, 2018. If registering your business with the Corporate Affairs Commission has been on your to-do list for some time, this is the best period to get it registered. You will need your National Identification Number to begin the registration process and a reliable internet access as the registration is done online. The N5,000 registration offer closes in December. We know what you are thinking, you have enough time but don't get carried away, December will be here before you blink. WHY SHOULD YOU REGISTER? Registering your business with CAC adds credibility to your business, gives your clients some sense of trust in your business and also shows that you are serious about your business. You will also own the right to use your business name without fear of it being taken by someone else in the future.
